Two Eastern European murderers are on the loose in New York and videotaping their exploits in a possible attempt to become movie stars.
Empathy. Pathos. This is stuff the best films are made of, and this is where 15 Minutes is lacking. A fairly interesting subversive plot unfolds rather quickly as the less-than-well-defined good guys try to put a stop to the evil doings. Although the story and intrigue surrounding it are well developed, we're at a loss as to why to care about the good guys; sure they've got stuff going on in their lives, but they're not all that interesting.
Our murderers, however, are pretty interesting, as are most of the characters met along the way. Some of these are cameo appearances by the likes of Charlize Theron, Kim Cattrall, David Alan Grier & Roseanne Barr.
See this film, but there are better films in the genre with which you could build a movie collection.
