Having been framed by her ex-husband, a housewife hunts him down while a detective tries to stop her.
Lacking in any real plot depth, Double Jeopardy isn't the best summer thriller out there. But it sure proved to be a crowd pleaser. Judd and Jones give performances good enough to convince and add empathy; and there's enough action to satisfy those seeking a bit of excitement. You can do better with many other pictures, but Double Jeopardy has enough to stand on its own legs.
Directed by Bruce Beresford.
