When his wife files for divorce, neat-freak neurotic Felix moves in with his poker buddy Oscar; a relaxed slob.

Based on the famous Neil Simon play, The Odd Couple is a quirky, humorous look at human imperfection. Lemmon and Matthau are one of Hollywood's most famous screen pairings and they are close to magical here. There's plenty of situational humor, highlighted when a nervous Felix is left alone to entertain two ladies; the almost famous Pigeon sisters.

Also an interesting character study, The Odd Couple is a charming, timeless comedy that should appeal to almost everyone.

Directed by Gene Saks.
