The troubled daughter of a California Congressman falls in love with an ambitious Hispanic boy from a poorer neighborhood.
A story of forbidden love, but for reasons you might not expect. This isn't the typical "Daddy doesn't want me to ever see you again" story. This is a better relationship study than most pictures of that nature.
Dunst and Hernandez both tackle their roles well. I'm looking forward to seeing more of Hernandez in the future. Kirsten Dunst has a natural delivery with her lines in this film that is truly refreshing, what's more is she doesn't wear a bra in this film ever - which is also a plus!
Directed by John Stockwell.
