The world is changing and its effects are felt by some middle aged friends in Los Angeles.

Nice performances and a fairly brilliant story. It's a feel good movie disguised as deep drama. Not as outrageous or funny as a film like American Beauty but in the progressive timeline of filmmaking, Grand Canyon lurks somewhere between The Big Chill and American Beauty.
