An MIT computer wiz is recruited to join the CIA. His loyalties are torn when he's asked to track a sexy female double-agent.
A less than brilliant, but still serviceable film. Pacino, Farrell and Moynaham all give even performances. The script is really pretty good; stronger on story than dialogue, but still decent.
Not the most exciting of films; not the greatest performance from its stars, but a quality picture just the same. We generate some pathos for the central character as he is being torn between what he thinks is true and what he is told is true. This is an often used theme in films and goes quite a long way.
Directed by Roger Donaldson.
