An aquatic alien species is trying to take over the Earth, and they're starting with a high school in Ohio.

There is generated a certain level of tension here when the teens don't know who to trust. Otherwise there's not much original here. It is nice, though, to see the liquid metal guy from T2 working again.

A couple things do bug me about the film. One: At one point this was re-released to theaters. Here's a couple other movies that have had re-releases: Star Wars, Close Encounters, and Saving Private Ryan. Curious, huh? Two: The movie never made it clear why being a fish from another galaxy was bad. They all seem pretty content to me.

I poke fun, but the film still goes moderately recommended.
